Volunteering

  • We ask our club members to seriously consider helping the club. Volunteering doesn’t have to be strenuous or difficult. Much or the work can be done from the comfort of your home. There are lots of activities occurring within the club & we always can use an extra hand. It’s also a great way to meet your fellow club members. Remember that we are all volunteers.
  • Gas Cap Newsletter Editor:
    • Must be comfortable with email & MS Word application.
    • Receive articles from club members, organize into the Newsletter format, add photos, artwork, etc
    • This can be a one or two person position.
  • Activities:
    • Join the Activities Committee to find new & exciting adventures for our club members.
    • Help to research & define Breakfasts, Dinners, Museums, Corvette Driving Tours, etc
  • CCDV Calendars:
    • If you have hands-on experience with email & MS PowerPoint, you can take control of the Yearly Calendar Project.
    • You need to have skills handling email attachments, cropping images, arranging photos in Powerpoint (or whatever tool you’d prefer), interacting with the Print Shop, keeping track of sales
    • Creative ideas would be very helpful
  • Cavalcade of Corvettes
    • Help the club with any of the following: Setup, Takedown, Food, Raffles, Parking, Finding Sponsors, etc.
  • CECF Board Member
    • Join the Charitable wing of our club. They collect & distribute $ to worthy charities throughout the Philly area.
  • Cruise Night Help
    • Setup/breakdown, Judging, Food Sales, Music, Trophies
  • Membership Chairperson
    • Manage the new & renewing Membership List. MS Excel & Email experience necessary.
  • Store Sales
    • Manage the procurement & sale of CCDV labelled items (shirts, hats, jackets, mugs, etc)
  • Sponsorship Sales
    • Help the club find & develop sponsors. They can place ads in the Newsletter, Website, or Wall Calendar
    • Every donation helps
  • Treasurer
    • Help our club with it’s finances
    • Experience with QuickBooks would be great
  • Website
    • Help review, test, & update items on our website & social Media sites
    • Experience with WordPress would be great
